It is debatable, but I think the author of a video on youtube is the person who recorded it or the person who created it. People on youtube post all different kinds of videos from all sorts of media mediums. You tube makes money from all of the ads. I think that after you post your video to you tube, they have the rights to it, but i'm not sure if I think that it is right or not? hmm
